'The Black Island' is perhaps the greatest Tintin adventure. I love all the other Tintin stories passionately, but this one in particular, is perhaps my favorite among my favorites.
Here Tintin flies an airplane, sails a boat, fights with "wild beasts" beats the bad guys, and even wears a kilt. But this book is special for far more reasons. The landscape scenes around Tintin are superb, the drawing is great, and the plot, sublime. The suspense is incredible, too. No one will take him to the Black Island. Even though everyone is scared out of their minds, Tintin decides to go, risking everything...
So, what are you waiting for? If you are a true Tintin fan, go ahead and start reading Now (see the download link at bottom) !
